um yeah i got back from bali yest...cant sleep yet not sure why..so im thinking of writing about my trip now. well here it goes
bali, the place to be. was 10times better than phuket. it was just like phuket, but more civilised. and the shops ther are muchhhh better.
day 1: checked in at the hotel, changed and walked to kuta square. a street full of surf&skate shop with brandnames like quiksilver, roxy, ripcurl, mooks bla bla bla and one thing i noticed, there's polo stores in every 5 meters and they're half the price than other places. ate at a nasi padang restaurant, small but clean. went back to the hotel n slept.
day 2: had bfast. had these little custard pastries that tasted so gooodddd and also chocolate pastries. not much to eat since most of them contains pork(yuck!). dad rented a van with a driver since we didnt want the excursions so we can go n stay however we like. so first stop, kuta beach, just to have a look.then, Bedugul, a lake on a mountain. it was super collllldddddd i tell ya thank goooddd i didnt wear shorts. well anyways stopped just for a while to take pictures...nothing much. bought strawberries (they were awesome) and this kacang bali (lagi awesome) which i couldnt get enough of. next stop was Sanur beach. sanur is a bit calmer than kuta and is not as hectic. gorgeous place. then went to tanah lot, which means tanah laut, the most photographed temple ever. it was beautiful. the scenery was just awesome. it's actually a temple on top of a rock at the beach so when the tide comes, it'll look like as if the temple is an island itself. then headed to uluwatu. one thing about going places in bali is that its distance between places are no more than like going to OU or KL, just that the roads, small and busy are what makes the journey long. oh in uluwatu, we stayed there for the sunset and watched the kecak dance. it's a dance comprises of 70 men n no musical instruments at all telling the story of rama and sita. we left about 7 when it was really dark. it gets dark fast in bali. on the road for another hour to get to jimbaran and ate seafood dinner, on the beach...which was really nice, since my lobster costed about rm400++ lol. after dinner we got back to the hotel and walked at the beach summore. there was some award shows at the hotel area, and i dont mean one. there were practically like two events at the same time. was really tired so got back to my room and slept.
day 3: woke up a tad bit late. and decided to go round to nusa dua, where all the posh and luxury hotels are. stopped at a mall in nusa dua, nuthing much, new place, and left. went to another bach near nusa dua, i forgot the name, had a drink while watching people playin water sports and decided to go to kuta square...again. walked at kuta, and scoured more shops. bought a few tops in this store which i totally fell in love with, called body+soul. and then walked around and omg i found a shop full of havaiianas. wanted to buy the one i ordered through ebay, since its wayyyy cheaper but then takde size. sedih. so a bit like merajuk lah with my dad and walked around in the shop summore and found, surprissseeeee...Ed Hardy's collection. caps, tees, just name it. hahahHAHAHAHAHA suka sial! then went to Hard Rock store. the bajus there were awesome but a bit expensive tapi a bit menyesal i didnt buy anything but im going to the next time im in bali. walked around and had dinner at that nasi padang stall again and walked walked walked till the next thing i knew, i was on my bed. lol.
day 4: lepaked at the beach after breakfast and did henna tatoos..packed erthing and left the hotel.hopefully i dont see anyone i know this time hahah. well boarded from denpasar and straight to Lcc sepang. arrived around 5 plus. saw a trio...well umm friends of three. one guy looks like brandon roth(superman) and one looks like ashton kutcher and another girl well she looks like umm iunno lol.
