18th Dec 09, Advertlets invited their bloggers to experience a Day Out with Alamanda in conjunction with the Holiday on Us promotion and I was thinking like

"huh? Alamanda? the last time I went there the biggest thing was F.O.S"

lame.

but then again Josh said there will be activities such as wakeboarding and that caught me instantly. I said yes before Hard Gay can finish the sentence "Hardo Gay"

such an adrenaline junkie. gotta stop. reminds me that I was so excited to see the huge-ass rollercoaster at Sentosa Island's new Universal Studios...ok off topic  *rolls eyes*

So I decided to hitch a ride in Amanda's car since I got 20km of petrol left when I reached One Utama -_-"

lagipun, driving alone is NOT FUN AT ALL weih.


oh BTW, the pictures were taken from other bloggers' facebook and also Josh's flickr cause my sister was SOOOO SMART to lend our memory card to her friend and Amanda forgot to bring the one she wanted to lend me hahaha so yeah...STOLEN PHOTOS!

I think we were one of the first to arrive at Alamanda but one of the latest to reach Old Town Kopitiam for breakfast courtesy of Alamanda.

I believe it was too early for me to start chomping down food so I just stared at it hoping it'll spur up some appetite but fail.

Alamanda was pretty nice though to give us goodie bags from Dunkin Donuts and more =P

freebies, I like.

So after everyone fueled up, we had a group photo consisting of Advertlet bloggers, FlyFm Djs and other Media members for memorabilia

Damn, memang fail muka tak malu wei ....

We went back into Alamanda for some quick shopping trip cause some forgot to bring this and that for the watersports later on *ahemamandacoughcough* and Quicksilver gave us 30% discount on non sale items woohoo priviledges!!

everyone boarded on the bus right prepared by Alamanda right after and proceeded on to Challenge Park

 

which happens to be THE BIGGEST INDOOR CLIMBING PARK IN ASIA!

 

did I mention they have a huge ass skatepark too? hint hint

briefed by the manager and off everyone went to get their climbing shoes:

 

and since I refused to climb (errrr long nails, no gym clothes, not my thing) I was just watching everyone else climbing and got nice views of everyone's....behind  -_-"

apart of that, I was Amanda's unofficial photographer using her Lumix. Things I do for my evil twin lol.

ooohhh she did miss one spot and she knocked her back on the wall.

Some of you may know that Amanda is sponsored by Nike so when she got down I noticed her scar resembled that famous swoosh logo

After rock climbing, they brought us to Pullman Hotel for lunch.

my my now that was a MASSIVE place man.

 

and the buffet spread was gaga oohlala!

ok I admit that song is stuck in my tiny little head.

I looked at Belinda's plate and it was all greens and I looked back at my plate.....

I thought to myself, "Hanie, she's gonna live 10 years longer than you"

 after lunch, we had a tour around the hotel.

DAMN now that's a 5 star hotel.

 

they had four types of rooms, all with a touch of the different ethnicity background in Malaysia..

 after the tour, we went to the backyard of the hotel where there was a huge man-made lake..

and was briefed about the watersports activities.

Did you know that they're currently training little kids as young as FIVE?!?!

 

 

 and trust me, they're better than us in so many ways

 so we get the knee and hand bending right

and off we went to the lake while the rest sheltered from the rain ngeheh

 

 apparently the boat was full for water-skiing and there were no time for wakeboarding thus I was just lazing around the pier until I saw a knee-board and started asking questions. next thing I knew, I was on it, pulled by a motorboat...GILA AWESOME! I am SO going again.

it's RM240 on weekdays and RM300 on weekends for an HOUR.

share it with 6-8 ppl and you're good to go. it's NOT that expensive. I think Go-Karting is more exy.

changed, dried and hungry, they brought us to Manhattan Fish Market for tea.

sat with Nadia and Hunnymadu from FlyFm. Radio ppl are funny ppl! remember that.

 

we didn't catch the movie though cause Amanda had to go due to other engagements so we headed back, went to pick up my car in the massive traffic at One Utama. Reached home, dieded and paced for the flight on the very next day...CAN DIE!
