Alice in Wonderland Media Screening: KLCC

I don't know how long I have been anticipating the release of this movie, with the hype of it being another Johnny Depp and Tim Burton collaboration and also because it was one of the tales I grew up with. You know, everytime I hear 'Alice in Wonderland" somehow it reminds me of 'Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds'...get the relation? hahah nvm if you don't  =P

Ok, so I opened my mailbox one day to find out that Advertlets have been invited by the Melium Group to watch and attend the press screening for Alice in 3D...JOYFUL JOYYYYFULLL! Plus, I get to make my friends jealous by watching it WAAYY earlier heheeee  =D

They're doing two screenings for us, one in KLCC and one in Midvalley. Being the kiasu, of course we picked the KLCC cause it was on the 1st of March nyeh nyeh lol and the best part? There's a Madhatter's Tea Party right before the screening. The one in Midvalley, however, is gonna be a bigger event with another 10 Advertlets bloggers, hosted by Ean from Hitz.fm

Oh ok so when they interviewed me, they asked me what would be my favourite character and I chose the Red Queen of 'Queen of Hearts'

see what I mean? It's like how people like Zooey Deschanel, that's how I like Helena Bonham Carter  =P

plus, I liked how she always says "off with the head" in the movie, I swear it's damn cute.

oh and this time, it's not Wonderland, it's Underland, where Alice is already 19 years old, with vague memories of Wonderland upon arriving into the room with the locked doors.

ok, I won't spoil the movie much further, it's definitely DIFFERENT from your childhood version of Alice in Wonderland although the characters roughly remains the same with some variations here and there. And did I mention, that the fatboys were damn damn cute? they looked like Jon Heder that I even put a bet with Zen, at which I lost la duh.

PS: watch out for Alice's dresses in the movie, I particularly loved the one where the madhatter made for her and the red one when she was under the Queen's care. It was LOVELY!
