eating dust

I can't really remember the first time I actually went to Sepang International Circuit to actually watch a race. All I've known is that as far as I can remember, I've been highly influenced by friends who are into cars, especially big and fast ones and I can't even remember the hours I've spent at a car workshop, even doing my homework and assignment there, just cause I dated a guy who was into cars.

Over the years, my knowledge on cars have improved, and so did my driving skills (which I haven't been using much lately due to #klrb's tweets). Any good friends of mine would tell you their experience sitting in a car with me when I'm on 230km/h with my current husband (the car).

here are some (old) photos from my sepang experiences:

Back to the main point, I've made visits to Sepang International Circuit for many races (not just Formula 1), and I found that the most popular one would still be the prestigious F1 and this year, I was invited by Tune to witness the homecoming of the Lotus F1 car, launched by Tun Dr Mahathir himself at Pavilion that will make a debut this weekend at the Formula 1 2010 season.

The team...no no not the Lotus team (we wish), it's just the Advertlets team lol

and of course, I wouldn't miss the opportunity to snap photos of the cars on display upclose...you can even lick the paint if you want. Yes, it's that close  =P

and guess what was the highlight of my day (the one where you go oohh ahhhh)
