There's a snake in my boot

Remember the song "You've got a friend in me?"

If you grew up with Disney, I bet that you'd instantly know which movie did the soundtrack came from.
oh sorry, wrong photo HAHAHA. Cute, isn't it?

OK, found the poster!:

Advertlets bloggers had the privilege of catching the movie a week before the world premiere. We were so privileged that we had to turn our phones, laptops, cameras and other electronic devices outside the cinema upon entering hahaha but all's good for after 11 years of waiting, there's finally an ending to the Toy Story saga...and it's such an awesome ending that as a Toy Story fan, I feel satisfied.

I remember the first movie, in 1995. At that time, the Toy Story technology was definitely an advance in the animated movie scene. And the storyline captured many hearts especially mine cause we love our toys, and at some point would have imagined them being so real while playing with them.

In Toy Story 1, we remember that Woody (voice of Tom Hanks) was threatened by the arrival of a new intergalactic-space cadet toy called Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen), which Andy got on his birthday. So when Woody tried to rid Buzz's existence in Andy's room, both of them ended up somewhere far and they had to make it back to Andy's before they move out of the house.

In Toy Story 2, Andy was off to Cowboy Camp for summer and accidentally left Woody behind. In the attempt of saving another toy that Andy's mother threw out for a Junkyard sale, Woody ended up being stolen by a collector who wants to ship him off to Japan as a part of an exhibition. It was up to Buzz and the rest of the toys to save Woody before Andy gets home from camp.

And in Toy Story 3, Andy is all grown-up, ready for college. Oh and Pixar tried to use the same cast for their voice-overs from the previous Toy Story installments up until the third one. We all know that Tom Hanks was Woody, Tim Allen was Buzz Lightyear, Joan Cusack as Jessie the Cowgirl and so on (they only had to replace the voice of Slinky the Dog after actor Jim Varney passed away)

But what most of us didn't really notice is that John Morris is the voice behind Andy.

kid Andy

Oh, and he grew up alright  ;)
along with Andy's character.

John Morris NOW:

drool or not laaaa like that?

+ + +

So, this time in Toy Story 3, Andy grew up, all ready for college and the toys are worried that they'd be thrown out. Andy had a nostalgic moment when packing the toys that he decided to keep them in the attic, and bring Woody with him.

However, some incident occured and Andy's mother thought that it was trash and threw it outside. The toys thought that Andy was trying to throw them out and decided to go along for donations at Sunnyside Daycare centre. Woody tried convincing the rest of the toys that Andy wasn't trying to throw them out but to no avail. The rest of the toys were convinced that Andy is grown-up and will not play with them anymore.

Once they reached Sunnyside, they were convinced that it would be the best place for them for there would be many kids that would be playing with them.

In this installment we would be introduced to many new characters, Lotso (LotsaHug bear) that smells like strawberries, and my fave, Ken (The epitome of a new age metrosexual men).

The toys thought that it'd be the best place for them, but little do they know that Lotso is actually a mean, heartless and scheming bear who controls the whole daycare like a prison, despite being all cute and cuddly. Now Woody, managed to escape when Bonnie (super cute new child character) found him but the rest were not so fortunate for they were imprisoned and forced to stay in the toddlers playroom where they do not appreciate toys like it should be.

OK, I won't spoil the movie further for you guys anymore, you're gonna have to watch it yourself.

TRUST ME, there were so many LOL moments and also touching moments so all 29 of us had SO MUCH FUN watching this I give it and infinity and beyond out of 5 stars!

and to me, it was definitely the best ending for the installment   ;)

Now, for behind the scenes photos:

Take your time next week on the 17th and catch this awesome summer flick. I guarantee that you won't be dissapointed. And let me know how it went!!!

oh wait, I was so excited talking about the movie that I forgot to post up photos at the media screening recently at Midvalley Megamall:

They even brought Woody and Buzz from Hong Kong!
