I called Point8cam who was busy skating and shooting around Singapore up to shoot photos and videos at the Marina Bay Sands Skypark while I was there before I head back to work. He did an amazing job covering the place in ways I won't be able to do. And its always fun to have someone to catch a break with you, even for such a short while.
The scenery was breathtaking and I wished I had the time to dip in the pool but there were just so many things in store for the media team that swimming would mean waking up at 7am in the morning for a dip. And at 57th floor, I doubt an early morning swim would be a pleasant one if you know what I mean he he
This amazing architectural landmark, placed on top of the three Marina Bay Sands hotel towers at 200m above ground level, is the brainchild of the architectural genius, Moshe Safdie. The infinity pool is one of the main attraction for the hotel, other than the breathtaking view especially at night. With an impressive 12,400 square meters of space, the Sands SkyPark can host up to 3900 people for a one of a kind panoramic view.
Who doesn't want a view like this? No wonder people pay a bomb for penthouses.
oh, this view - anda boleh ignore =P
Longer than the Eiffel Tower in Paris, this 1.2 hectare build-up is large enough to park 4 and a half A380 jumbo planes and it's actually one of the world's biggest cantilevers.
This viewing deck, is not just a viewing deck with an infinity pool, it also houses one of the swankiest lounge/bar in the world. Situated on top of the third tower of Marina Bay Sands, Ku De Ta was voted as one of the top 10 global hotspots by New York Times.
On the first night, we had the privilege to have free-flow of cocktails at Ku De Ta, packaged with a view of the cityscape facing the bay. Breathtaking, surreal and almost perfect, if you have your loved ones to accompany you. Perfect place for that romantic date, if you're a city kind of person. House music was played through-out the night, but it didn't really feel like the thumping club kind. It was just nice, suits the ambiance. If you like Kuala Lumpur's Skybar or Luna Bar, you will fall in love with Ku De Ta instantly.
seriously, what is there not to love about THAT!
