The Curious Case of Number Six

Many of you know about the person I'm currently going out with for the past few months but many of you don't know how it started. I guess fate was really showing itself to us, after all the years of being in the same location at the same time, but never actually had the chance to meet. 3 years ago, we were at the Shifty Mag launching as I was in the magazine and he was the cover but we never met, he only remembered my shoe! haha but he and I were with someone else.

We were even at the same skate competition in Sunway 3 years back, had the same mutual friends, but don't remember ever being introduced until recently, he found that I actually accidentally snapped a photo of him skating. What a coincidence!

Only last year, when I attended the Putrajaya event with Advertlets that I met point8cam but no words were exchanged between us as we just ignored each other and did our own stuff. Only when I met him a couple of months after that, on the eve of his birthday, that we were properly introduced but he was so sombong! or as he said, "concentrating on work" that we only muttered, "Hi, nice to meet you".

So we just mind our own business for the next half year until we met again (I'm sorry that I always ignore your hello(s) on MSN!  =P ) and he shot a video of me playing with fire fans at which I thought was super cool cause I never knew what he does before that (I thought he was just working with Unseen.tv) hehe so we started talking and he talked me through my 'artistic emo' phase cause we share tons of things and views in common but nothing happened until a couple of months after that things weren't working out well with me and my previous relationship.

It was one fine day that we were supposed to go to an event, that I asked him whether I could hitch a ride, and I did. So his perspective on me changed with the conversations we had in the car. I was the first girl he knows that layans Kanye! ROFLOL. Let's just say that we had a few dates (maybe a lot la actually) until we decided to hook up and be public. Yes, it took a while. Oh, here's a teaser video I made for him while rushing to pick his present up, get ready etc before I picked him up for his birthday dinner on the 5th. Fully shot with a Lumix GF-1 and edited in Adobe Premier Elements.

But that's not the main story of this post. It's supposed to be about the Curious Case of Number Six. Well the story goes like this:

Point8cam had a sleepless night on one fateful date, and only managed to sleep at 6am, only to wake up 6 hours later. We skyped and he told me he has to attend an open house at 6 when I told him I was bored and need to go somewhere. He said let's go so I went to pick him up, and because of the traffic jam I arrived at his place at 6pm. So nevermind, off we went and on the way back only to realize that we parked at B6, until I asked him whether he was born on the 6th. And yes, he was. Few weeks later, he realized that when sending me back, my house number was 6, and I was born in the 6th month of the year, and this year he was turning 26. Hence, the number 6 in the video above. So you see the number 6's relation to us? Damn, right lol

Made that video while skyping with him (secretly), planned a surprise birthday dinner with his friends, and left him notes here and there throughout the whole week. He suspected something, but I don't think he suspected what was planned for him at all! haha so here are photos from that night, and yes, I got him a PSP Go.  =)
