Across the Causeway

Currently in Singapore-

  • training my legs and calves with the amount of walking to compensate the times stuck in traffic
  • eating more junk
  • meeting up with old friends and new friends
  • meeting up with future client that I'd love to work with soon
  • spending time just holding hands and taking MRTs with point8cam and chilling for coffee or ice cream while doing some people watching
  • getting baked under the hot sun on Orchard road
  • discovering that Little India and Bugis is actually within walking distance like wtf
  • Spending moolah on Haji Lane and Bugis street (and popping my Haji Lane virginity)
  • Discovering that my wedged heels are useless to be worn if I'd be walking around
  • Going back to my favourite places in the city
  • Gonna be watching The Lion King musical (LIKE YEAY OMFG cannot wait)
  • Zouk & Butter Factory
  • Buying Crysanthemum White Tea non-stop to quench thirst
  • Discovering that 1.5km away is actually a far distance esp under the scorching sun (this dumb blonde girl thought it's not)
And ultimately just getting away from all kinds of bollocks in KL and trynna see my opportunities here. Seems like the industry is not far away from the same issues in KL but with no other main competing blogging network. Been hearing all sorts of stories from all walks of life, which is a good experience from me. I love hearing what people have to say. And the people I've met so far are just plain wonderful. I love this city that I don't mind calling it my second home. In short, I just love the fact that I can take the train from one spot to another without having to care about the people around me.

Will be back for another semester soon but I'll leave you with two teaser photos from Singapore, just a gist of it, but with plenty of hair! Since some missed out and asked me how does my hair actually look like now with this new insane bleaching. It still looks dip-dyed, but with a twist, so when I style it differently, it gives a different effect. A nice, radical change but a change my parents weren't too happy about teeheehee =P   It's just temporary so don't worry

Have a nice week ahead, I'll try to find time to write =)

OH, and the hair was done by the awesome awesome people at Celeb Trendz in Solaris Dutamas and no, this isn't an advertorial but they've done an awesome 7 hour job in such an affordable price.

(their shop is above The Pink Sage, beside Old Town Signature)

xx
