Chic Pop 9 & Don't Duck It

I'm really sorry that I haven't been updating much lately, and having people asking me to update regularly and the fact that I'm not is making me feel like a semi-failing blogger hahaha. Apart from assignments piling up, I'm currently helping out bits and pieces of point8cam's work and also building up my own temporary career path. And I have to admit, I'm getting a little lazy nowadays and losing a bit of modjo, probably due to the fasting month with all my sleeping time going haywire but that's ending soon. I'll be concentrating on writing short posts instead of long ones cause I don't think most people would have the time to read REALLY long ones anyway.......right? no? yes? Ah well, umm ok let's get back to the main purpose of this post...updates!

As most of your urban hipsterrrrssss knowwww (ok, I was just joking there, I don't actually use that word), Chic Pop 9 went on last weekend at Jaya One and I managed to drop by for a bit to support some friends and the Don't Duck It awareness campaign. It was a quieter Chic Pop this time, probably due to it being Ramadhan and it was sweltering hot at some point that even I was secretly sweating finding it hard to stay fresh for photos. Nevertheless, I managed to squeeze in so many things in one day due to my awesome last minute post-procrastination-do-everything-under-pressure skills.

Oh wait, point8cam made a video for the previous one, Chic Pop 8 where he showcased our friends from Pestle & Mortar. They're at every Chic Pop or look up for them on Facebook. (Click on the colorful wordings to be re-directed to their sites!)

It was actually my last week with this duo-toned hair but I still haven't had time to play and style it...such sad case that I have to change it in time for Raya so that the makciks at my kampung won't get a shock, but oh well, can't wait for my next hair. The parental units are complaining that if I keep on doing these things to my hair, I'll be balding by the age of 30            ....................  0_o  ..........................

The first thing we did when we got there was drop by at Pestle & Mortar's booth, THEN I had to make some rounds to get to the Don't Duck It booth to drop the goods I was donating for charity (yes, they include my shoes ^.^ ) and I have to admit, I'm still a Chic Pop noobie that I actually got lost around Jaya One lol!

What I wore:

Jumpsuit (as top): Haji Lane
Pants: Zara
Bag: Bershka
Belt: Bugis Street Market

Finally found it after some silly miscommunication between DustyHawk and Spinzer bahaha so funny and dropped my stuff, took some photos and left. It was so hot that I was in such a dazed state I couldn't even concentrate on what I was doing lol

Point8cam and I went around with Alfin (his brother), Gerald, Mel and Jonny to just "look see, look see" but my ASOS package arrived the day before so I SWORE not to shop and I had to stick to it, which sucked balls T_T

Oh and don't forget to pledge, please. Or donate for a good cause (Breast and Cervical Cancer charity). Ultimately you can help spread the word around, find out how HERE (and yes, you can have your photos digitally edited to have those paint splashes too!). You can even be a part of us ambassadors by submitting you photo and details here

Look, it's Jenhan!

yes, I was photobombed by point8cam's brother -_-"

ok, that's all for now! I'm gotta get started on my assignment now! Oh, and go for my hair appointment -_-

xx
