The adidas NEO label campaign is nearing to the end. It had been a bittersweet journey for me, constantly challenging emotionally and physically. I was so close to letting it go, but I "slapped" myself, with the help of others' supportive tweets and personal consolations, and went on headstrong. I decided to do something bigger and better at the eleventh hour and it was pretty much a do or die situation:
1 day planning and executing, 3 people to work on it, nearly a thousand ringgit spent, 3 hours of sleep, almost 200km of traveling back and forth, 21 hours of staying up + 5 more hours for point8cam to transcode footage to edit, 3 cameras, 8am-4pm non stop outdoor work, continued at 9pm-11pm, 2 meals, no toilet breaks, 15l of material liquid, Sunburn and liquid burn, rain and flooding, 1 day of editing - a whole lot of effort, sweat, tears, car smelling like paint thinner later on and us smelling like a mixture of drain water from all over KL and sweat.
Here's the short video for adidas NEO cause full video will only be out next month. There's a lot more that happened but we gotta save it for now haha:
It was heart-breaking to have something unexpected happen cause it seemed like during my whole campaign and on each shoot, it rained and we did what we had to do - shot in the rain but it limited us to a lot of things. Cameras couldn't get so wet, clothes had to be taken care of and my mood was gone seeing gloomy weather.
It wasn't as great as expected due to the weather, but we've done it and it's there. Do have a visit to have a look. I wonder how'd it would look like sun-charged, on a good day =)
My skin is still sore from being under the scorching sun plus the splashes of that special paint wasn't some funny business. It burned like insect bites, add to the sunburn? My God. I woke up with phlegm from inhaling all the chemicals but it was all worth it. Even my mom saw the wall on her way to KL and texted me with a "well done". I felt like a winner already with one simple text =)

and finally, the end result!
Don't forget to vote for me here:
Less than two days left! Send me to adidas Germany with your votes!
On another note, a week or so left for South America! Can't wait to finally see the Incan Pyramids and Christ the Redeemer. Wonders of the world! But I'm dreading having to leave point8cam here doing work =(

Good luck Hanie and all the best! <3
