If you have been reading my blog for a while now, you’ll realize that I’m currently juggling a full-time job, and also my blogging “job”. Last month was even a more taxing month for me when I had to also study part-time for my exams. So generally, I’m used to being in a stressed out situation, hence my body will tense up. My daily activities that contributes to this would be either
- 1. Carrying tons of bags, laptop and other heavy things.
2. Sitting in front of the laptop, studying or working and hunching my shoulders and back without proper support.
All these minor things actually contributes tensed muscles and aches especially around the shoulders and neck area thus I would always need a ‘massage-on-the-go’ that I would be bringing around, for a quick relief.
I got used to using balms, and even deep heating lotions in these recent years but recently I found a newly packaged Tiger Balm specifically for the Neck & Shoulder rub. It’s sort of like a mini spa retreat, provides relief and soothes my sore muscles after a long day at work or doing heavy activities. I love that unlike other balms, it has a refreshing fragrance and a special formulation that it worked even better when I used my massage chair after putting on the balm.
This balm comes in 2 types – Tiger Balm Neck & Shoulder rub (with lavender fragrance and suitable for mild aches) and also Tiger Balm Neck & Shoulder Boost (with a stronger minty scent) which provides extra heat, strength and lasting relief for those knotted and stiff muscles on your shoulder and neck.
What’s even better about this new formulation is that it’s non-greasy so you don’t feel oily and sticky afterwards, and that it’s easier to bring in my handbag or traveling kit as it’s packaged in a flat 50g tube that looks as pretty as a hand cream! No more digging with my long nails into the bottle and getting the balm stuck underneath your manicured nails! This definitely sets it apart from your usual topical analgesic products which are not usually user-friendly, especially for us girls. I can use this, and then not risk having excess of it sticking to my fingers and accidentally rubbing my eyes afterwards! This happened before, trust me ;)
As you know Tiger Balm have been around for ages! Thus, it is definitely a trusted brand to provide a quick relief to your hectic lifestyle. You can now purchase these two balms in leading pharmacies and Aeon Wellness stores nationwide.
