All you need in this world is a little bit more color

PLANET BLUE LOOKBOOK

As much as I'd love to have hair like that, I think I've reached my dye-ing (pun intended) limit. I think we shall leave all these rainbow hair to the ones that are currently rocking it. However, I still love the styling and how carefree the lookbook makes me feel, especially with the prints and colors. I'm so into prints currently I think I should slow down a little. Other than that, I've been shopping in ZALORA... quite a lot I must say -_-"

Time to let go a few pieces in my closet, perhaps?

Casio Exilim ZR20 - Toy Camera & Miniature

I've been super busy lately that I keep missing out chances to take photos with this super awesome camera, the Casio Exilim ZR20. I know I was supposed to update my blog showing more functions but I'm chasing for time I ended up posting super old posts saved in my draft instead. Obviously, I need to make more time for myself and also my writing. Luckily, in between being a test shoot guinea pig and hanging out with Team Kix (if you don't know who they are already, they're the people behind THIS video) at their secret hideout, I managed to snap some random photo of the secret test shoot project.

This time I used the Toy Camera function, since there's tons to play with, and I love how Toy Camera looks good when there's tons of objects around, making it look effortlessly messy, if you know what I mean.

Someone asked me, how good is this camera. I said "you can get all these effects in a few simple clicks of two buttons. Not only that, you get to choose the level of intensity you want too! This means that it saves you time from having to treat your photos with heavy post-processing via Photoshop. For example, these three are photos using different level of intensities taken under the Toy Camera mode:

LEVEL 1: Blue tint

LEVEL 2: Green tint

Level 3: Red tint

So here are some random photos I snapped with the Toy Camera mode. I must say that I've had so much fun with this function that I think it's my favorite so far! There's no need to use a lomography camera and waste on film when I can do it digitally. I can't wait to use it on more photos!

Check out more sample photos on Casio Exilim Malaysia's Facebook Page to make your comparison!

Ohhhhh, I missed out on another function, which is the miniature function. I always use this function in my iPhone but now I can have it on my camera too! Same goes with Toy Camera mode! Check out what I did recently. The downside about using the iPhone app is that I can't choose my focal point whereas with this camera, I get to choose which part of the frame would I want to focus on! Super cool, alright!

Interested yet? =P

Still more functions to post soon!

A story for tomorrow

Have you ever wondered, if the path you're on now would still be the path you'd want to walk on after miles and miles of different terrains? Life's a never-ending journey of discoveries and even after different seasons, I wonder if I'll be strong enough to make it for tomorrow. It's not always shine, there's storm between the calm. But when the storm grows, have I always prepared myself a shelter? A tiny umbrella will get swept away so fast, you'll be left vulnerable in the cold, cold rain and the harsh, strong wind.

I've never felt so lost but so in place at the same time. I'm no longer that floating speck of dust I was a year back. I'm no longer that breakable twig I was many moons ago but I'm standing here today, in the middle of nowhere, but so close to home, asking my heart, where should I go next?

It's true then, I'm a nomad. My heart never settles in one spot. It travels with the light and sound of hope, in search of a better tomorrow. I don't need a concrete mansion on the highest of mountains but if smiles are what I'm gonna see everyday, I'd bleed myself dry if it takes me to. All I need now is a map to nowhere, a one-way ticket to everywhere, a backpack to last me for a lifetime and a hand to hold as I walk through valleys and deserts. I wanna be on a journey that is never the same as days go by.

This, is the life I wanna live... in constant search of harmony, clarity and answers before it's questioned. What I want, is a story for my tomorrow.

Oh, and I think this is the gazillionth time I've posted a Gnarly Bay Production's video. I just love how the couple travels and records them =)

What I wore: WOM and Mother's Day

I love this polka dotted playsuit from Whitesoot. The hem is not too long but it's not too short either so it's parental-approved for family outings. Loved how when I pair it with skinny belts (and I love wearing double skinny belts in two different colors) it gives a break to my torso and shapes my waist so the playsuit does not look to heavy. Paired it with a sailor cardigan from Forever21 and ballerina flats from Larrie by ZALORA Malaysia. Pink bag was from Versace KLCC. Accessories from H&M, ZALORA Malaysia and also the watch was a gift from Miriam, my other half at work.

I know I need to spend more time taking more photos of things lately, cause my blog is really dying, draining down the blackhole but by the time the camera is whipped out, I'm either not in the mood or look like I've been walking 5 miles in a desert, all oily and sticky =(

Promise I'll post more soon, but just in the meantime, I wanna show you guys some stuff I've been wanting from Whitesoot. Help me choose please! Photos are taken from their Facebook Page:

Runaway

I've just been really, really tired mentally and physically lately I wish I could just get a ticket out of town where no one knows me and I don't have to answer to anyone. All I want is just some alone time, staring into the horizon, take walks in small towns and have a sip of a cuppa in the mornings while I write down into my journal of thoughts. What I need now is a peace of mind, an escape from reality of the race I'm not liking, even one bit. I'm a pretty competitive person, but only when the base is fair and just but I don't live in denial, so I know there's no such thing as a fair world. I just need to zone out or take a leap into a whole different dimension, I guess...
